Newsletter's year recap & 2025 outlook
2024 was a prolific editorial year — 37 articles on technology and innovation. The newsletter started as a companion to my first book, Who says Tech is a long, quiet river? (late 2023). Automotive and robotics readers responded most strongly, with ~10K article views and ~500 subscribers gained through word-of-mouth alone.
What motivates this work
I'm passionate about technology and innovation, and I enjoy writing and sharing perspectives. The newsletter has generated consulting opportunities and boosted book sales — and demonstrating thought leadership recently led to my role at Amazon AWS.
On the ethics side: articles are grounded in publicly available information. I use ChatGPT for research and DALL-E for illustrations, but none of my articles are automatically generated. Human-still-in-the-loop, neutral positions, my own words and my own selected data points.
What to expect in 2025
Monthly articles on the topics that got the most 2024 traction — not exclusively AI. Completing a second book leveraging prior analysis. Follow-ups on core technologies and new sectors like fintech (recently certified). Topic suggestions welcome — geopolitics (especially the US–China trade war) got unexpected attention.
